Climate Fiction Simulation

Some time ago, in 2024, I programmed the software for Mission W - a climate fiction simulation by VeraVoegelin. It premiered at Scharoun Theater in Wolfsburg and has been playing as a workshop for school classes ever since at the science center phaeno in Wolfsburg. In the End of August we were asked to adjust a few things in the logic and the appearance of the code. So we did.

Until now about 2000 young adults have been playing the simulation, where the audience takes on various roles, giving them the opportunity to playfully explore questions of responsibility, possible courses of action, and decision-making processes in dealing with human-induced climate change.
